Two-Ingredients Ice Cream
Summer is in full swing, and it’s time to switch to those chilled, no-bake desserts. No sweat, no mess, and certainly no stress! Let’s make one of the easiest ice cream recipes that you can come across. Most ice cream recipes require making a custard base with eggs and cream first, then adding the rest of the ingredients. Next, you churn the ice cream in an ice cream maker and then freeze it. But for this recipe, you don’t need an ice cream maker or fancy equipment. All it takes is two main ingredients. Your kids can make it along, and they’ll be super happy with the quick and delicious results.
The two ingredients are whipping cream and sweetened condensed milk, don’t confuse that with evaporated milk, as that is a different thing and won’t give you the same results. The finished product is the base of any ice cream flavor you want to make. Then, add vanilla, honey, coffee, chocolate, etc. The choices are endless and allow your kids to get creative. I first saw this recipe on the Bigger Bolder Baking page, and you can check out the variety of flavors she makes.
